Here is one of the poems they published:

Prana

Mother to earth’s water cycle

breath is an airborne ocean

moving through

tissue, muscle, blood.

The woman is made new

at each in-breathing;

her scent, note, hue are

given away

at each out-breathing.

She becomes a river bed:

her stones, minerals, bones

sculpt the shape of water.

She breathes the earth,

calls it inside her body:

            the coyote by night

at stream’s confluence

gnawing bones,

catching crayfish

grandchildren by day

splashing, squabbling;

stream ripples glisten

in sunlight

owl calls to her mate,

the woman motionless

is sheltered by pines.

Her mind, prayer, heart

flow out on the breath.

Earth and woman are

twined as lovers;

each one’s embrace

subtly shapes and

molds the other,

their rhythms rising

and falling in tandem.

An Aeolian harp

~ her strings tuned by unseen hands ~

it is her melody that

pleases the wind.
